Last week I posted my script and storyboard for my Media AS Preliminary Task and now I've finished it! I'm actually quite proud of myself because I've got an awful cold - which is rather annoying - and although I'm ill I still managed to complete this all.
Having been off ill yesterday, I completed all the editing and filming today in my Media Studies class - I even put some music in the background!
Our task was to film someone walking through a door, sitting down opposite someone else and exchanging a few lines of dialogue.

Even though I'm proud of this, my preliminary task is not without flaws. Whilst editing, I couldn't help but realise at one point there are a collections of bags, books and a laptop behind one the characters and then they all disappear in one go. This is an issue but overall I think I handled the '180 degree rule', 'match on action' and 'shot reverse shot' well
(fingers crossed).
I had considered editing my script for this short film but I decided on the day that my overall script worked better without the edited lines.
